About Hartman Built Training

You Deserve to Move Well

I am an Internationally Certified Master Trainer and Coach, Corrective Movement Specialist, and Certified DNA Program Designer who believes that everyone deserves to move well. Quality of life is defined by one’s ability to enjoy it in a strong, efficient and pain free manner. To this end, I bring master skills, experience and tools to assist my clients in achieving their individual goals. With a background in rehabilitation, injury prevention, movement correction, Muay Thai, BJJ, Competitive Powerlifting, Body Building, Military fitness, Olympic Lifting, Russian Kettlebells, DNA Program Design and performance strength and conditioning I am equipped to build individual programs for each client. I provide the accountability, motivation, nutrition, and movement required for each client to reach their goals; they need only bring the mindset and together we can achieve anything. Life is a journey, make sure yours is taking you where you want to go.

As a corrective movement specialist, I present the body with the correct movement patterns for these adaptations resulting in cessation of pain, increased mobility, whole body balance and healing at a fascial level that is long-lasting and translates to every day life.

She Saved Me

Let me start with the fact that I had never stepped into a gym before. That being said, after taking 2 serious falls over the past year, it was time to make some changes. I began working with Sarah Hartman about 9 months ago.The pain I had in my neck and shoulder was almost unbearable - daily. I was sure that I would have to live with it for the rest of my life. Not true. With Sarah’s guidance, we have alleviated the pain and stiffness in my neck and shoulders to almost nothing. I barely had the strength or balance to do a squat, a push up, or even a lunge when we started. Today I am so proud to be able to tell my family and friends “hey, I deadlifted 140 pounds today”. There was fear. Fear of falling - fear of failing. Sarah has giving me so much confidence not just by helping me gain strength but by teaching me to push harder, then push a little more, you can do this, you can. She is in my head every day, lifting a box, going down those stairs, walking on that dock. She is an amazing trainer – she saved me. My only regret is that I didn’t start working out with her sooner.

I feel 18 again!


Sarah developed a fitness plan unique to me and would adjust my workouts accordingly based on how I felt that day.  

Over time, my body changed and so did my health.  I no longer had attacks from my Fibromyalgia, my blood sugar stabilized, and my hypoglycemia was balanced from the nutritional plan she had given me.  My hypothyroidism was also balanced. Not only did I change physically, my mental clarity was now back! Everything that seemed impossible before was now 'possible'Sarah has coached, counseled, and encouraged me 100% of the way.   I feel like I am 18 again!  I feel that healthy! Plus I have a new perspective on life because of Sarah's support and belief that I had it in me the whole time!  I highly recommend Sarah Hartman for any type of fitness needs you have.
